School closure update

Hi everyone,

I had hoped to be welcoming our existing, new and kindy students to the new school year, however, unfortunately, that is not the case. As you may know, the Premier has announced that Public Schools in Perth, Peel and South-West of WA will be closed from Monday 1st February (tomorrow) as part of the five-day lockdown restrictions for these areas.

This will be an extension of the school holidays and no lessons or supervision will be provided. I realise that this will cause some distress and difficulty for some, but at this point in time, we are following the same advice as everyone else. I anticipate that further details will be provided by the Department of Education and I will share further details or any adjustments as they become available.  You may wish to refer to the Department of Education website in the meantime: https://www.education.wa.edu.au/ 

Thank you for your patience, and in the meantime, stay safe, look after each other, and let’s hope we can all emerge relatively unscathed at 6pm Friday.
