‘My School Currambine’ Song

We are excited to announce the addition of a brand-new song to our school playlist: ‘My School Currambine’!

The song was written by realheartmusic, a duo featuring our School Chaplain, Ms Pyrc and Byron Keno.  realheartmusic specialise in positive mindset songs for kids, with current, catchy melodies.

Ms Pyrc recently returned to Currambine Primary after previously serving our community from 2015 to 2019. Her goal was to create an upbeat and modern anthem that resonates with students across all year levels.

Student voices were professionally recorded in the school holidays, by well known local singer/voice coach, Chelsea J Gibson, at Skyborn Blue Recording Studio, in Ocean Reef.   The student vocals were then forwarded to producer, Byron, whose hours of skill producing, mixing and mastering the track, achieved our fabulous song.

Production of the song was supported by Mr Swain, Miss Ermacora, Ms Froud and a group of enthusiastic Year Five and Six students, who were thrilled to be part of the process and experience a professional recording studio.

‘My School Currambine’ is based on our school’s ERIK values – Excellence, Respect, Integrity, and Kindness. Mr Swain and Miss Ermacora are now enjoying teaching students how to sing and perform to the song, bringing its positive message to life across the school.
