Enrolments
All children enrolling into Pre-Primary through to Year Six are required to apply for enrolment at our school as described below.
Enrolment at Currambine Primary School is primarily for students residing within the school’s designated catchment area. Applications from families living outside this boundary will be considered at the discretion of the Principal following the Department of Education WA’s Enrolment in Public Schools Procedures.
Kindergarten Enrolments for 2027
You can apply to enrol your child to start Kindy in 2027 if they are four years old by 30th June 2027. Kindy enrolments close on 24th July 2026.
Successful applicants will be notified and will be invited to an orientation morning later in the year. During this session, they will meet our current Kindergarten teachers, explore the classrooms, playground, and early learning areas, and learn more about our Kindergarten programs.
Applications for Kindy 2027 that are submitted following the application deadline, will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to availability of Kindy places.

Pre-Primary Enrolments for 2027
Pre-Primary is the start of the compulsory learning journey for students. Once accepted into Pre-Primary, students remain enrolled until the end of year Six.
All families that wish to enrol their students into Pre-Primary for 2027 (including those with a Kindy student currently attending our school), must complete and submit an Application for Enrolment form as per the process outlined below.
Application is by Principal approval which will follow the Department of Education WA’s Enrolment in Public Schools Procedures (refer to section 3.1.4).

Enrolment Process
To apply to enrol your child at Currambine Primary School please download and complete the Application for Enrolment Form.
Once completed, please bring the Application for Enrolment Form and the following documents to the school office:
- Original Birth Certificate
- 3 x Current proof of address documents (e.g. council rates, utility bills, driver’s licence, current lease agreement. Please note that bank statements are not accepted)
- Passport or visa/proof of citizenship (if applicable)
You do not need an AIR Immunisation History Statement with this application as we require an up-to-date record (not more than 2 months old) when you receive a letter of acceptance.
If your application for enrolment is successful you will receive a letter from the school regarding the next steps.
